The details are still being worked out but the Town of Breckenridge has agreed to provide bus/shuttle service to upper Warriors Mark, AKA White Cloud.
Shuttle service will begin on or about 12/10/2016 and will run through the ski season.
- At this time, service is not planned to operate outside of the winter season.
- Shuttles will operate from about 7:30 each morning to about 11:00 each evening.
- Schedules are subject to change based on utilization.
- Shuttles will run about every 20 minutes (3 times an hour).
- Shuttle service is for Upper Warrior’s Mark only and does not mix with the existing bus service in Lower Warrior’s Mark.
- Shuttle route will be from/to Upper Warrior’s Mark, to the Marriot at the bottom of Columbine Circle, then on to the Ice Rink.
- Shuttles will likely stop at 4-5 locations up on White Cloud. Stop locations are still being finalized.
- Shuttles WILL NOT stop at any of the existing Brown Bus stops along Broken Lance.
- Shuttle service is only to take Upper Warrior’s Mark people to/from ski area and town via the Marriot and/or transfer at the Ice Rink.
- Shuttle Bus service will be provided by a 3rd party firm.
- Vehicles will be something along the lines of the Sprinter shuttles you see around town.
- Vehicles will hold about 14 passengers.
We will post a sign somewhere on White Cloud and will send out a postcard letting everyone know. Everyone living in the neighborhood should give it a try and encourage all renters as well. The utilization of this service this winter will be a strong indicator of services required going forward.
