Please attend the Annual Meeting Saturday June 25th.

The Warriors Mark HOA Annual Meeting is this weekend!

Please join us Saturday, June 25th at 9 am in the park on Broken Lance.

We will elect new officers, review our finances, discuss transportation and parking issues, and any other issues of concern to our homeowners.  If you have any questions or want to make sure a specific topic will be discussed please contact Steve Wesley (breckwes@msn.com) or Beach Clow (beachclow@gmail.com).

Town to hold meetings on April 25

Mark your calendar:

Town Transit Meeting, April 25, 7:30 to 9:30 am, or 5-7 pm, at the new library on Harris Street.

Breckenridge Traffic Consultants will present initial findings at two meetings on  at the new library on Harris Street.  We urge you as a homeowner in Warriors Mark or Warriors Mark West to participate in the meeting.

The Town Council and mayor have come to realize that there are severe
parking and traffic problems. They proposed a 900-car garage on F lot
(Park Avenue and Village Road) along with a bridge over Park Avenue.

The town has hired consultants to review this and other ideas and present possible solutions. The consultants have visited Breck at times of heavy traffic, and have met with the community. They are presenting their initial findings twice on April 25, 7:30 to 9:30 am, and 5-7 pm at the new library on Harris Street.

The WM HOA board feels that this will totally impact traffic in our end of town, which now often backs up to Broken Lance Drive. All WM homeowners should be there to hear the proposed solutions and give our comments. Millions of dollars will be spent and traffic will be rerouted. Hopefully a better plan may result with increased bussing, bussing lanes, and everyone in our area able to get to ski without paid parking, and fewer cars.

Please turn out, speak your mind to improve and protect WM.

Summit Daily article about transit and parking.

An excellent article in the Summit Daily news captures the problems of transit and parking in Breckenridge.  If you did not see it in the paper, here is a link to it.

Subject: Breckenridge Parking Changes – Please Distribute
Date: Wed, 27 Jan 2016 17:56:45 +0000
Good Afternoon,
The Town has made several recent changes to parking as a result of data that we collected over the first two months of the ski season. These changes reflect input from the parking and transit task force which is comprised of a cross section of community members. One change of note is that an Ice Rink Day permit is now available to residents who live south of Boreas Pass to the top of Hoosier Pass including residents in Blue River, Warrior’s Mark, & the Boreas Pass area. (Employees who work in town are still eligible for a Free Ice Rink permit based on place of residence). Please remember that skier/snowboarder parking is prohibited on Main Street.
You can find more information about the recent changes on the attached parking update newsletter. We encourage you to distribute this parking update. Please direct any questions or concerns to Matthew Collver matthewc@townofbreckenridge.com or 970.453.2251 ext 1664.
Thank you,
